LED Luminous DecayEdaphic Scientific’s HSM model spectrometers are high resolution, high accuracy, yet low cost spectrometer for LED quality testing. The HSM is powered and operated from a laptop or PC via the free interface software.

The HSM is ideal for LED testing in the laboratory, office or at a client’s location. The HSM automatically calculates and outputs CIE 1931, CIE 1976, CRI, CQS, LED bins, and visible spectrum analysis.

how does the HSM-01 and HSM-02 work?

Rainbow Light HSMThe HSM is very simply to use. Connect the HSM to your Window’s PC or laptop with the provided USB and open the free software. Point the instrument towards the light source and then click start measurement in the software. The user can then scroll through graphics and tables for immediate results. Interpretation of data can be made on the spot or saved for additional analysis later. Data can also be saved as Excel files.

The HSM measures light in the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum between wavebands 380 and 1100nm. Light enters the instrument and a unique spectrochip and CCD turn the photons into electrons for further analysis via the inbuilt computer. The results are displayed instantly on the touch screen in the user-friendly software.

No calibration and no maintenance is required.
