Rainbow Light Spectral Analysis System_1Edaphic Scientific’s Spectral Analysis System can analyse liquid samples via optical spectrometry following chromatography for chemical constituents. The Spectral Analysis System analyses prepared samples via MEMS spectrometry. Spectral signatures between 200 and 1100nm allow scientists to determine which chemicals are present or absent in a sample. A monochromatic light source is passed through a sample and the absorbance spectra are analysed by 3D software.

In the Spectral Analysis System, a rapid scanning spectrometric detector is applied with MEMS concave grating as the detecting device, constructed as multi-channel parallel tasks, concurrently detecting the through grating spectrum, then subsequently irradiated to optical signals across all wavelengths in an array receiver. Then the 3D chromatography spectrogram, displaying the relationship between absorption value (A), reserved time (tR), and wavelength (l), is obtained by the software and subsequent analysis can be carried out on your computer.
